Getting the UPTOOLS3 src

All programs are written in ANSI C and were tested on the following platforms:

(*) upworks does not run properly on AIX.

Due to current ftp problems, the uptools3 distribution is available via your browser by clicking with your left-mouse button.

Use <Shift-Left> mouse button to get uptools3.tar.gz

A README is contained with installation instructions. Basically, what you have to do is the following:

  1. unpack the distribution;
  2. optionally, you may edit the Makefile.template;
  3. use the configure script;
  4. make it 
      gunzip -c uptools3.tar.gz | tar xfv -
      cd uptools3
      [vi Makefile.template]
      configure
      make
We are currently working on examples (online) help, and a tutorial. Of course, if you have any questions, you may ask them to me (louis).
